We all know the NBA is full of vibrant actors. When the second quarter isn’t going as planned and someone falls dramatically drawing a foul. This time the fellas of one of the best sports associations get to do some real acting.
After pouring his savings into the Rucker Classic basketball tournament, Dax (Lil Rel Howery) finds himself against all odds. While raking his brain for a solution to his problems, Dax somehow finds the basketball legend UNCLE DREW (Kyrie Irving) and gets him to lend a hand to the cause. The two set out to find Drew’s old B-Ball gang including no other than: Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Webber, Reggie Miller, Nate Robinson, and Lisa Leslie.
Aside from the athletic star power, Uncle Drew also features tracks by some of the hottest names in Hip-Hop. A$ap Rocky, Gucci Mane, and 21 Savage team up on the London on the Track assisted tune, Cocky. Uncle Drew will hit theaters June 29, 2018.
