On Sunday, Fergie Ferg, of the highly esteemed Black Eyed Peas took to center court to sing the National Anthem. To our surprise, her rendition was just like the mythical boxer from Philly, Rocky. The NBA All-Stars could not clasp their laughter. The close up cam panned the crowd slowly as grins crept across their faces. The same faces inspired a meme and gif frenzy internet wide.
Fergie later apologized for not quite hitting the mark she intended. “I’ve always been honored and proud to perform the national anthem and last night I wanted to try something special for the NBA,” 
She told TMZ. “I’m a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn’t strike the intended tone. I love this country and honestly tried my best.” Just in case you missed it watch it below and try to hold your composure.
