Former members of the legendary rap group State Property, Oschino Vasquez and Peedi Crakk stopped by The Breakfast Club to try and shed light on recent beefs and why Oschino opted-out of the BET Hip Hop Awards cypher.
The pair give a very REAL interview. Touching on topics such as:
- Oschino being the first from the group signed to Roc-A-Fella Records
- Gentrification in Philadelphia
- Where the beef between Oschino and Beanie began
- Why Peedi decided not to side with Dame Dash when Roc-A-Fella fell from greatness
- …and more
A question was posed as to why neither O nor Crakk ever dropped solo albums. Peedi explained “Roc-A-Fella crippled us a lot.” He also stated “we became the most important thing in Philly.” Both very true statements, State Property should have been way bigger than it was. (This could be my biased inner Philadelphian speaking, idk.) Just check out the interview below and form your own opinion.
